the end. [Saint Louis Child, Family, Newborn, Maternity, Wedding Photographer]

as much as it is the end, it is the beginning.  and an exciting beginning!

Jodie Allen and I will be merging completely over at Fresh Art. Have you been there recently to see our new look? We’re hoping it’s family friendly because that’s what we’re aiming for! So not only will we be photographing the heck out of newborns, we will now be doing families and seniors and kids and even weddings together! (yes, I’m dragging into the world of artificial light, she’s dragging me into weddings!)

So you will now be getting two photographers!  We both bring different things to the table that means you, the client, get a huge and fabulous complete package!  We are both busy moms committed to our families, and so having each other to share in the work load that comes in running a business is wonderful!

So, this is the end of Kim Weiss Photography.  But the beginning of the new & improved Fresh Art Photography!

yes, I’m still here! [St. Louis Child & Family Photographer]

So I’ve gotten a few people asking if I’m still taking family & child portraits… ABSOLUTELY!  I have simply moved my maternity & newborn work to Fresh Art, so I can focus Kim Weiss Photography on children, families, and high school seniors.

I am so excited to see the response Jodie & I have gotten since starting Fresh Art!  And I’m just as excited to move forward with a new focus for Kim Weiss Photography!  I have changed a few things with my pricing… no real increases, just making it simpler!  Despite it being only July, now is definitely the time to start thinking about family holiday portraits and getting on the schedule!

And, can I just say, I am finding it hard to believe it’s already JULY!  This week, Bill has taken off and we have been enjoying a “staycation”… just home. together. low key.  And next week we are celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary!  And still crazy in love!  So I’ll still be a bit scarce, but will return to share more images of upcoming sessions.

Today, I got to photograph the most mellow laid back baby with Fresh Art!

peeking in as I sneak out of town – [St. Louis Child Photographer]

Oh neglected blog of mine!  These last few weeks have been a bit crazy and my blogging took the back burner!  Busy with clients, volunteer work, and just general life with 7 kids going different directions, but I also added in my oldest daughter having her Confirmation, getting ready for graduation, and 8th grade trip.  The 8th grade trip I’ll be chaperoning as we leave bright and early Wednesday morning (though technically, we are leaving when it’s still dark!).  I’ll be semi-available, but may not return email/calls until we get back Friday evening.  I’ll be checking email periodically on my phone (and, yes, I may be Twittering and/or Facebooking too).

Since it seems wrong not to post a photo, here is my Mother’s Day present from Jonathan:
