I know I’ve been teasing you with the new project Jodie and I have been working on and TODAY IS THE DAY to announce it!  We are SO excited to show you this!

It’s going to be the PERFECT fall session because it will make an INCREDIBLE Christmas gift… for your husband, the grandparents, or just to put away and give your kids someday!

And to give credit where credit is ABSOLUTELY due… we got the idea from Tara Whitney, one of our favorite photographers from out of California. She started doing these earlier this year and I know it’s inspired a lot of photographers in other markets to start offering them! Thanks for being awesome Tara!

AND this would not have come together without Jodie Allen and Jeff Koziatek (videographer) collaborating with me. The three of us make a great team and we can’t wait to show you some of our other videos in progress!

a new project – [St. Louis Family Photography]

So another one of the benefits of teaming up with another photographer, is we really spur each other on with ideas and things we’d like to try.  This is just one of many new projects Jodie & I have in the works for Fresh Art.  And I’m going to be a total tease and just share some images… and wait to share next week (hopefully!!) what we’ve got up our sleeves!

sneak peek for the P family – [St. Louis Family Photographer]

I got to hang out with this gorgeous family on Thursday. They found out how I don’t like to stop shooting. Even on our way out. Even when the kids *really* thought I was done. I’d beg, “just one more?”. Hope it wasn’t too much torture, guys! Enjoy just a few for now!

big happy family – [St. Louis Family Photographer]

Oh, how I love this family!  So when they contacted me about shooting them ALL, I was excited!  And nervous because posing large groups and adults, not my strong suit!  But the excitement won over since I knew we’d have a fun time… because I love this family!  And the nervousness flew right out the window because Dad had all the posing and grouping completely organized and under control.

back with a sneak peek! – [St. Louis Baby & Child Photographer]

eek!  Has it really been over a week since I last blogged?  Such is the whirlwind that is summer break!  Of which started out with a bang!  First day, we ended up at Urgent Care with Gracie, 8 stitches later and we are hoping a lesson was learned about jumping on the bed.  The second day of summer break blew in a wicked storm which knocked us without power for over 4 hours.  I was already behind in work and that just threw a HUGE kink in my plans for the day.  I was almost fearful to get out of bed on the third day!  Thankfully, no more major bumps, just busy with sessions and volunteer/charity work, and I’m still playing catch up from May.

But seriously, I’m sure you are looking for a cute baby images right about now.  And boy can I deliver!!  Little K was here on Saturday.  Cute as can be and just as sweet.  I could totally get her smiling, only to lose the smile by the time I got the camera up again.  I did manage to get a few though!  Hope you enjoy the sneak peek, A & J!  It was great to meet you and K!

few more quick peeks! [St. Louis Family Photographer]

Few more of this gorgeous & fun family!  I know they would love to see more before their gallery is ready.

I have a couple other galleries I need to get finished & up.  May has been a crazy month for me and ending on a bittersweet note of my oldest graduating 8th grade tomorrow.  :::gulp:::  And Baby Sophie has turned TWO!  And it’s been a while since I’ve done a Sophie photo flood, so look for that soon!  LOL

But, really, you just want to see this awesome family!

These boys utterly & completely stole my heart!  (can you even believe Mom & Dad were nervous how their littlest guy would do?)  Not only are they just too cute for words, they are sweet & kind & FUN!

super excited! – [St. Louis Family Lifestyle Photographer]

Had a FABULOUS & fun family session today with a most adorable family!  Well, I guess technically it was yesterday now!  I was really just going to download them to my hard drive, back up, and call it a night.  And now I’m forcing myself to only post two that I simply HAD to peek at!  You’ll see many more of these I’m sure!  I’ll fight off the urge to blog the entire session… haha!

Thanks so much, R family.  Hope you had as much fun as I did!  Loved hanging out with you… those boys of yours stole my heart for sure!

“S” Family Session – [St. Louis Family Photographer]

The S family requested a session at a place I hadn’t been before, but I quickly fell in love with.  Dad attends Concordia Seminary and knew all the gorgeous architecture and folliage would make for beautiful images, and was he ever correct!  I think I could have shot there forever (and the kids may have felt we DID!  haha!)

a most gorgeous family – [St. Louis Family & Child Photographer]

Seriously.  So gorgeous.  I often have people ask if I make it a requirement to be gorgeous before I photograph you… LOL  And this family is just picture perfect, aren’t they?  You may recognize little G who got the cover of Kids Trends Weekly back in March.   And can you even believe Mom said to me she doesn’t like to be photographed?  Seriously?  If I looked half as good I’d be in front of the camera as much as possible!  :)

But even better than them being stunning, they are such a neat and fun family.  The girls are so fun and so polite, and G’s giggles are the BEST!  Thanks for a fun afternoon W family.  Here are 2 real quick to peek at!
