a new project – [St. Louis Family Photography]

So another one of the benefits of teaming up with another photographer, is we really spur each other on with ideas and things we’d like to try. This is just one of many new projects Jodie & I have in the works for Fresh Art. And I’m going to be a total tease and just share some images… and wait to share next week (hopefully!!) what we’ve got up our sleeves!
If you love the idea of getting images of your family just BEING your family, as you are RIGHT NOW… then you are going to be over-the-top in love with this idea like we are! Can’t wait to share!

J came yesterday for a mini-session. We met up in June at Faust Park when he turned 2… only it was a bajillion degrees out, even in the morning hours. So we just went ahead and scheduled a studio session too. Only, who would have figured in the middle of the day at the end of July it would barely be 80 degrees! O’well, any excuse to play with J (and mommy!!) is fine by me!

Here is part two of my most favorite people sessions from yesterday! I can hardly stand how beautiful this little girl is… but the very best part is she has a personality out of this world! Love her & her mom like crazy! And I still can’t believe how much she has grown and changed from last year’s session!
I have some big business news brewing. A few things will be changing, but it’s VERY exciting and FRESH! Look for an announcement to come soon!

I got to meet some of my most favorite people yesterday! First up is J who is a brand new two year old! I’ve photographed him since he was itty bitty, and now he is such a big sweet boy! Despite meeting early, we still melted in the heat & humidity that is St. Louis now!
Later, I’ll post some sneaks from a soon-to-be THREE year old session from yesterday too!

eek! Has it really been over a week since I last blogged? Such is the whirlwind that is summer break! Of which started out with a bang! First day, we ended up at Urgent Care with Gracie, 8 stitches later and we are hoping a lesson was learned about jumping on the bed. The second day of summer break blew in a wicked storm which knocked us without power for over 4 hours. I was already behind in work and that just threw a HUGE kink in my plans for the day. I was almost fearful to get out of bed on the third day! Thankfully, no more major bumps, just busy with sessions and volunteer/charity work, and I’m still playing catch up from May.
But seriously, I’m sure you are looking for a cute baby images right about now. And boy can I deliver!! Little K was here on Saturday. Cute as can be and just as sweet. I could totally get her smiling, only to lose the smile by the time I got the camera up again. I did manage to get a few though! Hope you enjoy the sneak peek, A & J! It was great to meet you and K!

Finished up sweet little one year old A’s session + cake smash. Always end up with way too many images, but love them too much! I often do 10×20 storyboards for the cake smash sessions, but am really liking this option to get MORE images on! So fun!
After this session, as sometimes happens, Sophie comes in the “help” me clean up the studio and decides she’ll actually let me snap a few images of her. Which I always love being able to catch as she’s almost 2 and not ever always cooperative.
Isn’t she just a total sweetness little angel?
HA! Totally have you fooled!
Excited to see my friend Amy’s images from our little photo playdate today! Must do that WAY more often!
