J’s sneak peek + bonus for me!

J came to visit today to mark turning 18 months.  His Mommy is so good and so on the ball with keeping up to date with his photos.  And it’s amazing to see how he’s changed each time I get to see him.  I was all prepped for a work out session.  18 month olds are difficult and busy, I know, I have one of my own!  But J couldn’t have been a more perfect angel!  There are so many I could show you, but I really must finish up a couple other sessions before I can!

The bonus for me is I was able to get a couple of my own 18 month old, who loves to explore in my studio, but is completely over getting any photos (read: runs away telling me “no, no, no!”).

a couple of my most favorite boys

Just a little sneak peek from Wednesday’s session with the M boys.  Love when they come to visit and play.  My Thomas & G really have a blast!

quick sneak peek!

Big sister A set up this session as a gift for her parents.  Isn’t that the BEST?!  I think her parents are going to be so touched by such a thoughtful gift.  And, yes, C, you are definitely one of the funniest people I’ve had here (and the cutest too!).

A, not sure if you want me to put these up on Facebook yet or until after your parents see.

a few to redeem myself

from yesterday of my gang!

and totally had to post one more out-take.  So very Sophie.  It’s a little hard to see, but she’s totally got air time here.

a few halloween photos

Just my younger two in their halloween costumes.  Sophie’s is actually from last year and she had to be SQUEEZED into it (and added some matching Baby Legs)… I just loved this costume so much and she barely wore it last year… and she just looks so darn cute, too small and all!  Thomas’, on the other hand, is a size too big, which was all they had by the time if *finally* decided on the lion costume.  So hopefully I can convince him next year to be a lion again.  I have another family’s sneak peek I will post later today!  Absolutely GORGEOUS location (their home)!

what a gorgeous day!

We had a most beautiful day today, and looks like we are in store for more!  Yay!

My kids had a half day today for Parent/Teacher Conferences.  I went today and met with Gracie and Thomas’ teachers.  Gracie has straight A’s and glowing praises from her teacher.  We had warned her about how bossy she is and very different than Samuel, who she had 2 years ago…. but she says she doesn’t see any of the bossing, but agreed she is very different than Samuel.  She told me how she gets along very well with everyone, but also stands up for herself quite well (um, that’s probably an understatement.. hehe).  She told me that she loves playing tether ball with the older boys, but she’ll tell them to “go easy” on her (she’s a little bitty thing still), and when they don’t, she stands right up to them and says, “FINE!  Then I’m not playing with YOU anymore!!”  And I could totally see Miss Gracie doing that, hands on hips and stomp to complete it.

Thomas’ teacher also had the sweetest things to say about Thomas.  *WE* know what a sweet and special little guy he is, but it’s always nice to hear others agree with you!  She calls him her “little buddy” and he certainly is.  (she still is his “best & favorite friend”)  Thomas has some speech issues, he’s making strides, but he’s still behind his peers.  The good thing is, Thomas really doesn’t realize that there is a problem… he’s not shy to chatter away.  But one thing we’ve always been amazed with, given his delays with speech, is how bright he is with numbers and letters.  Mrs. Clark was very surprised that he knew all his numbers by sight (he knows all his letters by sight too, but she didn’t ask him about those yet).  We’ve teased as he plays his computer games, he can barely talk, but he has taught himself to read!

Tomorrow I have the rest of the kids!

I found these cool set of chairs on craigslist last week, and sent my husband off to pick them up… so I’ve been itching to drag one out for photos… and Gracie played model for me for a little bit.  Had a bit of fun processing these a little different.

such a nice cool fall day

Okay, so Saturday wasn’t exactly fall-like with 80 degree temps, but we faked it as best we could.  The beautiful C girls came out for a session outside on Saturday.  3 of my most favorite girls I must say!  I even think I had a whole bunch of bunny ears held up behind my head!  Sneaky silly girls!

Here are a couple to peek at!

Sneak Peek for the J Family

I just love watching my littlest clients growing!  I was lucky enough to photograph beautiful Baby K when she was just a little bitty newborn.  Now she’s a busy bouncing happy baby!  She was a delight!  Big Brother N had a much better time playing with our toys, but I found the thing he loves to talk about most.  John Deere tractors and Monster Trucks.

Thanks for coming out today, J Family, I love you all to pieces!

Here are a quick few favorites!

love these boys!

G&S came for a session yesterday.  I just love this family, and told Mom I could seriously just keep her boys.  G and I always have a good time chatting (and he made fast friends with my own 3 year old) and I could just eat up that squishy happy S.

Here are a few from yesterday.
