Here are a couple more of the VP kids’ session on Saturday! Did I mention they were beautiful? Oh to be so photogenic!

This is probably the fastest I’ve ever posted an image from a session, but I was copying them to my computer and saw this one and couldn’t resist posting right away!!
These beautiful kids came in as a surprise for their mom, so MUMS the word, okay?
Will post more soon!

It was hard to narrow it down to just a few to show! So many hysterical ones! Loved this session!
This is either a look of… “You are seriously just giving me a cake?” or “Back off! This cake’s MINE!!”

He made SO many of these faces!

But then he tasted it for real.

And he liked it for real!

edit to add: had to come back and add one more!

S came to visit today to mark his first birthday! He holds an extra special place in my heart since I’ve been lucky enough to photograph him from the start! I love watching my clients grow and feeling like they are part of my own family.
I’m saving the cake smash photos for later, but I was howling with laughter as I loaded them on my computer!

This morning was really not too different than any other morning with Sophie. While she’s waiting for me to get her out of her crib, she must scope out her room for various things she must immediately retrieve and carry or wear to breakfast. So it’s not uncommon for her to be sporting a baseball cap, purse slung on her arm, and a baby doll in tow while she’s eating her breakfast. But for some reason, this morning I was rather tickled glancing over at her… with a red cowboy hat and “beebee” on her tray with her waffles and grapes. Not sure why I haven’t documented this before… maybe because she’s just a always everyday a quirky little thing in various get ups and lugging around the “beebee” du jour.

Had a session today with one of my most favorite boys. I have photographed him since he was a teeny tiny newborn, and now he is one. And yes, we totally did a cake smash! Only, he was much more delicate, so it was more of a cake gentle tap! Will post some soon!
It’s been forever and a day since I blogged! It’s not that I am any busier than normal either! I mean, yes, “normal” for me is rather busy and crazy, but I can usually make time to blog! Only I’ve got a certain little miss, a busy-into-everything-can’t-take-your-eyes-off-her-and-she-won’t-let-you-walk-out-of-the-room-without-her-anyway-did-I-mention-she’s-a-crazy-climber little miss to be exact. ahem. So I’m barely keeping on top of my laundry at present and my house is in a constant disarray, so blogging and email and facebook and all those fun things *I* like to do, have taken a back seat. But I thought I’d pop on and post a couple pictures from today of Thomas, not the forementioned little miss, who has always had a strong intrest in letters and numbers, and has taken to writing his name, only he hasn’t quite got the idea that they should probably follow one another on a single line.
I present you with Thomas, a self portrait signed. And the artist himself, with full-on bed head and still in his jammies!
